Bryant O. Hammett, Jr. P.E./P.L.S.
Mr. Hammett is the sole
proprietor and manager of Bryant Hammett & Associates, LLC. He
formed BHA in August, 1984, providing engineering and land surveying
services for sewer, water, gas, streets, landfill and drainage
projects for public bodies, as well as for the private sector. Mr.
Hammett graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1978. He is a registered
professional civil engineer, professional environmental engineer, and
professional land surveyor, and serves as the engineer of record for
numerous municipalities and parishes in Louisiana. Mr. Hammett is
responsible for the overall management of the firm, as well as
day-to-day operations. Previously, Mr. Hammett served as the
Secretary of Wildlife & Fisheries for Louisiana, as well as the
Infrastructure Manager for the Office of Community Development. He
served in the Louisiana legislature as a State Representative for
over 14 years.
Keith Capdepon, Jr. P.E.
Mr. Capdepon is a
registered professional engineer in the State of Louisiana and has
been practicing for over 30 years. He has owned a construction
company licensed in heavy construction, highway, street and bridge
construction, utilities and public works construction. Mr. Capdepon
has significant experience with various engineering projects
including drainage and street, municipal water transmission,
distribution and treatment and wastewater collection and treatment.
He graduated from Mississippi State in 1980 and has worked with BHA
Hugh ‘Bud’ McCurdy,
Mr. McCurdy is a
professional land surveyor registered in Louisiana, with over 40
years’ experience in land surveying. Mr. McCurdy began his career
as a rodman in 1973, and went on to work for several engineering
firms before starting his own firm in 2005. He now manages BHA’s
Belle Chasse location, and he is responsible for all aspects of
boundary/property surveys for real estate transfer and the surveying
required for engineering, rights-of-way acquisition, and construction
projects. He has provided surveying services for oyster leases; pre-
and post-dredging; construction projects, pipelines, accident sites,
and boundary establishment. He is registered with the Courts in
Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany and Plaquemines Parishes.
Bruce K. Dyson, P.E./P.L.S.
Mr. Dyson is a dual registrant (Civil Engineer and Registered Land Surveyor) for Bryant Hammett & Associates, LLC. He is registered as a civil engineer in four states (Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama). He has been registered as a Land Surveyor in Louisiana since 1992 and is one of the Supervising Professionals for the firm’s land surveying license. Mr. Dyson is also a Certified Floodplain Manager, serving as the Region 2 Representative of the Louisiana Floodplain Management Association. Since his graduation from Louisiana State University in 1978, he has worked for Louisiana consulting engineering firms in the area of infrastructure improvements and public works projects (flood control, roadway improvements, ports/waterways, sewerage improvements and airport projects). His survey project experience includes boundary surveys, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ levee enlargements, topographic surveys, digital terrain model surveys (DTM), hydrographic/dredging projects and utility surveys.
Ms. Edwards serves as the
office manager for all four of BHA’s locations and is responsible
for all administrative functions of the firm; she has worked with BHA
since 1992. Her duties include preparing agreements for clients,
contract documents and technical specifications for projects;
assisting in preparation of contractors’ pay estimates and change
orders; and overseeing administrative aspect of all engineering and
survey projects with regard to timelines and budget. During her
tenure at BHA, Ms. Edwards has contributed to numerous projects
funded through federal and state agencies and programs, including
FEMA, GOHSEP, HMGP, CDBG and others. She provides services related to
regulatory agency approvals, preparation of bid documents and
assistance with contractor selection for these projects.
Elizabeth Tanner, CPA
Ms. Tanner serves as a
manager for all of BHA’s locations. She provides overall program
management, cost estimation, contract review, budgetary analyses,
proposal development, and data management. Ms. Tanner oversees the
management of BHA’s survey crews in multiple locations and is
responsible for scheduling, managing data, progress reports, client
interaction, budget control, and invoice review. She graduated from
LSU in 2006 with a degree in Finance and is a Certified Public
Accountant. Ms. Tanner has worked with BHA since 2011.
